Mysore Pak, which originated from Mysore, has ghee as its main ingredient. It is believed that as the amount of ghee increases, the taste also increases.
🍯 Key taste note: This classic sweet depends heavily on ghee for its rich flavour, aroma, and traditional melt-in-the-mouth feel.

🧈 For greasing: Ghee/Butter – As needed
1. Roast the gram flour: Place a pan on the stove and when it heats up, add the gram flour and heat it on a low flame.
2. Add ghee: When the raw smell is gone, add ghee and mix well.
3. Make the sugar syrup: In another pan, add sugar and water, and boil until it reaches a string consistency. Add the prepared gram flour mixture to this and stir well.
4. Set and cut: When it starts to thicken, pour it into a vessel greased with ghee/butter. After it has cooled, cut it into desired shapes.
Heat the gram flour on a low flame so the raw smell goes without burning it.
Boil sugar and water until it reaches a string consistency before adding the gram flour mixture.
